Do good propaganda work

In 2019, the Provincial External Information Steering Committee regularly directed, oriented and organized external information and propaganda associated with propaganda of seas, islands and border management. Promote propaganda and promote the image of the country and homeland of Nghe An to domestic and international friends. Discussing at the conference, delegates commented that the content and methods of foreign propaganda are still monotonous; the advantages of information and communication technology have not been fully exploited; and information in foreign languages ​​is still limited.

Facilities and technical equipment for foreign information activities are still limited; staff working in foreign information work are still holding multiple positions, so the exploitation and transmission of information is not high; and there is not a keen sense in accessing content.

Delegates said that the work of Foreign Information needs to be innovated, creating a more widespread effect in promoting the image of Nghe An to domestic and international friends.

Therefore, the Steering Committee needs to pay attention to the propaganda work to promote the image of Nghe An on social media and media; it is necessary to develop a strategy for foreign information activities in a 5-year period and specify it each year; pay attention to allocating the budget to strengthen the material and technical facilities for foreign information propaganda activities; focus on bringing foreign information work to international friends...

Building Nghe An's "identity"

Concluding the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized: External information work effectively serves to protect sovereignty, protect the regime, maintain political and social security; arouse internal strength, "attract" external strength, contribute to increasing resources for the province in socio-economic development.

According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the requirement for External Information work is to continue to innovate content and methods to improve the effectiveness of this work in order to promote the development and international integration of the province.

To do that, first of all, the Provincial Steering Committee needs to focus on building a strategy and "identity" to promote the image, country and people of Nghe An to international friends.

Promoting the advantages of propaganda and communication work, it is necessary to master and dominate this front through social networks and the internet; taking advantage of more foreign reporters to propagate about the province.

At the same time, we need to take care of training the staff working in Foreign Information, especially consolidating the specialized force; enhancing the coordination between agencies to create a common strength while providing more complete, accurate, timely and sensitive information, especially for complex issues.
