On the morning of January 9, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a conference of the Fatherland Front and provincial-level socio-political organizations to listen to the results of implementing tasks in the fourth quarter of 2022 and orient key tasks in the first quarter of 2023.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference. Attending the conference were Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Party Building Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and socio-political organizations at the provincial level.

In the fourth quarter of 2022,Fatherland Frontand socio-political organizations have closely followed the local political tasks and the people's situation, promoted propaganda associated with organizing activities,emulation movementPatriotism, boosting production, business, and economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Notably, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations focused on propagating, mobilizing, and receiving money and goods to support local people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters with a total mobilized value of more than 173.8 billion VND in the province and allocated more than 90 billion VND; propagating and mobilizing to actively support union members in developing production and business, escaping poverty, and stabilizing their lives.

The "Godmother" program chaired by the Provincial Women's Union has had a widespread impact on many agencies, organizations, and individuals to sponsor 1,115 orphans (as of October 24, 2022). The Fatherland Front and organizations also focused on mobilizing resources to support and ensure social security for union members, members, and people, especially during the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao...

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations focus on supervising the leadership, direction and implementation of Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW, dated October 25, 2021 of the 13th Central Executive Committee; inspecting the emulation movement "Skillful Mass Mobilization" in localities; participating in giving comments and criticism on draft documents of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and sectors, and organizing social criticism conferences.

Coordinate and organize meetings between National Assembly deputies, People's Council deputies at all levels with voters; promptly summarize opinions and recommendations of the People and voters to the National Assembly, People's Councils and People's Committees at all levels for consideration and resolution according to authority. Carry out citizen reception work according to regulations and resolve citizens' complaints and denunciations.

At the conference, through understanding the situation of the people, union members, leaders of the Fatherland Front and organizations also raised a number of issues, recommendations and proposals for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to pay attention to directing the control of prices of goods serving the Lunar New Year and the consumption of products for farmers.

Along with that, pay attention to removing difficulties for businesses, promoting production and business, thereby creating jobs and income for workers and laborers; at the same time, remove difficulties for businesses to access "packages" to recover production and business after the Covid-19 pandemic...

Regarding the recommendations and proposals of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the Provincial People's Committee is strengthening inspections, directing sectors and localities to inspect, supervise, and ensure the supply of goods for Tet for the people in conjunction with price control; directing inspections to ensure safe karaoke business; implementing solutions and measures to ensure traffic safety before, during and after Tet; controlling well the transportation, trading and illegal use of firecrackers...

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also informed the Provincial People's Committee's instructions on handling issues of public concern such as: Speeding up the construction progress of the North-South Expressway; resolving the backlog in granting land use right certificates to people; overcoming the situation of illegal sand and gravel mining; consuming products for farmers; supporting and promoting production and business of enterprises...

Closely follow, strongly focus on the base

Appreciating the activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, contributing together with the Party Committee and the government to create socio-economic development of the province in 2022, speaking at the conference, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee raised concerns about the work of information, propaganda, and grasping public opinion. People are sometimes passive in some places; the work of gathering union members to participate in union and association activities in some areas with special difficulties is not timely.

Regarding the tasks of the first quarter of 2023, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations need to focus on the grassroots, closely follow the grassroots, go deep, and be close to members and union members, and at the same time, through many channels to promptly, accurately and correctly grasp the nature of the situation and public opinion to have scientific solutions and measures to handle information right from the grassroots.

Focus on closely following the policies of the Party and State at all levels, and the political tasks of the locality to propagate and mobilize all classes of people, union members, and association members to agree to implement.

Based on 9 groups of issues that the public is concerned about, recommends, and proposes, and which were informed and answered by comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to preside over the gathering to disseminate to the people, contributing to better resolving the recommendations, reflections, and proposals of the people. The implementation perspective is to take people's satisfaction as a measure of the effectiveness of management work, a measure of the capacity of cadres, a measure of the effectiveness of issued policies and guidelines.

At the same time, proactively research to have specific solutions and measures to attract and gather union members to participate in union and association activities in some specific areas; strengthen coordination with all levels, sectors, and mass organizations to effectively resolve the legitimate concerns and aspirations of union members.

Continue to direct and replicate models and typical examples that have a widespread effect; take care to build solidarity and consensus among the people to implement target programs on new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; join hands to overcome natural disasters.

Pay attention to propaganda and mobilize people of all walks of life to boost production and create changes right from the beginning of the year; improve the quality of supervision and criticism activities, promote people's mastery in participating in building a strong Party and government...
