Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quang Huy congratulates medical units of Con Cuong district

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 25, comrade Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited and congratulated medical units in Con Cuong district on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2016).

Also attending were representatives of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, Provincial Party Committee Office, Ethnic Minority Committee, Con Cuong District People's Committee and leaders of the health sector.

Visiting and congratulating at the Southwest Regional General Hospital, comrade Le Quang Huy sent his best wishes to the 175 staff, doctors and their relatives; and warmly commended the hospital's achievements in health care and treatment to save lives.

Comrade Le Quang Huy visited patients being treated at the Southwest Regional General Hospital.

He hoped that the hospital's doctors and nurses would continue to strive to fulfill the glorious mission of "The Good Mother", worthy of being a Grade II hospital; further promote the "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", especially remembering and following Uncle Ho's instructions in the Letter to the Conference of Health Workers on February 27, 1955.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quang Huy hopes that Con Cuong District Medical Center will do a good job in disease prevention.

Congratulating the staff and doctors of Con Cuong District Medical Center on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, February 27, comrade Le Quang Huy requested the Center to better perform its current tasks of disease prevention and national target programs.

He emphasized the importance of prevention over cure, especially in the current situation where disease and epidemic models are increasingly diverse and complex. With good prevention, people will not get sick, hospitals will not be overloaded, and the quality of medical examination and treatment will be improved.

Congratulations to the doctors and nurses working at Chau Khe Commune Health Station.

At Chau Khe commune health station, comrade Le Quang Huy and the delegation warmly congratulated and sent best wishes to the doctors and nurses working here; expressed the hope that the doctors and nurses would continuously strive and study to improve their qualifications to do a good job of primary medical examination and treatment for the villagers; and soon build Chau Khe commune to meet national health standards.
