Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quang Huy wishes a Happy New Year to the Provincial Border Guard Command

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2017, on the morning of January 20, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quang Huy visited and extended New Year greetings to the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province.

Also attending were comrade Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

Welcoming and receiving the delegation were Colonel Nguyen Van Tuy - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard along with officers and soldiers of the Border Guard.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Le Quang Huy commended and acknowledged the outstanding achievements that Nghe An border guards have achieved in recent times. Although Nghe An has a long border and rugged terrain, thanks to the efforts of the Border Guard soldiers, drug trafficking, human trafficking, illegal migration, smuggling and counterfeit goods trading, etc. have been detected and suppressed in a timely manner.

Nghe An Border Guard has contributed to building a strong political system, maintaining security and order in border areas, participating in search and rescue work, and detecting unusual signs in border areas.
