Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee meets voters of Con Cuong district

(Baonghean.vn)- On December 25, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong met with voters of Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district.

Attending the Conference were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Vi Van Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Cuong district.

At the meeting, there were 18 comments and recommendations on a number of issues related to the regime and policies for people with meritorious services, which are still inadequate; vice presidents at all levels of the association do not receive allowances; the criteria for poor households need to be considered for the right subjects; the policy of distributing rice in forest protection and planting work still has many problems; Dan Lai students who have finished university do not have jobs; there needs to be a support regime for nutrition staff in kindergartens in remote areas; the issuance and renewal of land use right certificates for people is still slow.

In particular, the compensation and support work of Chi Khe Hydropower Plant for affected households has not been resolved yet. Voters also reported that the electricity grid in some villages has degraded and the electricity is weak and needs to be upgraded and repaired.

At the meeting, Mr. Vi Van Son - Chairman of the District People's Committee, Provincial People's Council Delegate, leaders of a number of relevant departments and Chau Khe commune directly explained a number of opinions and suggestions from voters.

On behalf of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also received and recorded the opinions of voters and explained their recommendations related to compensation for households affected by Chi Khe Hydropower Plant. At the same time, he requested the district to promptly resolve the people's feedback; review the site clearance plan, consider the complaints of each affected household to respond to the people in a definitive manner according to the law on complaints.

The remaining recommendations will be collected by delegates and forwarded to relevant authorities for consideration and resolution as soon as possible.
