On the afternoon of March 13, Colonel Duong Tan Bo, Head of the Investigation Security Department (ISD) of Quang Nam Provincial Police, confirmed to CAND reporters that the unit had just clarified a subject who impersonated an inspector of the Quang Nam Provincial Department of Home Affairs to defraud and appropriate property.
According to the initial investigation results, on February 25, the Investigation Security Agency of Quang Nam Province Police received a complaint from Ms. Le Thi Khanh H. (25 years old, residing in Dien An Ward, Dien Ban Town) about the fact that 10 days earlier, Ms. H. had met a person who introduced himself as Le Tai, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Nam Province.
Tai promised to help Ms. H. pass the civil service exam for the education sector organized by the People's Committee of Quang Nam province and asked Ms. H. and her family to pay a "bribe" totaling more than 61 million VND.

Receiving the victim's report, using professional measures, the Quang Nam Police Investigation Security Agency quickly took action and identified another case of fraud similar to Ms. H.
That is Mr. Pham Duy T. (26 years old, residing in Dai Thang commune, Dai Loc district), who was also promised to get a civil servant position at the same time as Ms. H. for 5 million VND by a subject named Tai.
Through verification, the Investigation Security Agency identified the subject named Le Tai, real name Le Tan Tho (30 years old, residing in Duy Hoa commune, Duy Xuyen district) and issued an emergency arrest warrant for the subject to investigate the act of fraud and property appropriation.
