The Ministry of Public Security has just appointed Colonel Vu Hong Van - Deputy Political Commissar of the Mobile Police Command (K20 - Ministry of Public Security), to hold the position of Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police to replace Mr. Tran Ky Roi who has just retired.

On the morning of June 25, the Ministry of Public Security announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer and appointment of Colonel Vu Hong Van - Deputy Political Commissar of the Mobile Police Command, to hold the position of Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police.

Attending the ceremony were Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh - Deputy Minister of Public Security, Mr. Pham Minh Tan, Standing Deputy Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Y Bir Nie - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Council.

Authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh presented the decision to appoint Colonel Vu Hong Van as Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police to replace Major General Tran Ky Roi who has just retired according to regulations.

Senior Lieutenant General Thanh hopes that in his new position, Colonel Van will uphold his sense of responsibility, build a clean and strong Dak Lak Provincial Police, and meet the political tasks assigned by local leaders and the Ministry of Public Security.

On this occasion, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh also expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, People's Council of Dak Lak province and local agencies and departments for their attention, direction and support to the police force to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

In his new position, Colonel Vu Hong Van promised to do his best, together with the leadership and officers of the Provincial Police, to maintain security and order in the locality, build a clean and strong police force, worthy of the trust of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Party Committee, government and people of Dak Lak province./.
