Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh met with the delegation of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Nghe An province.

At the meeting, on behalf of the delegation, comrade Nguyen Thi Thom - Acting Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union briefly reported on the activities of the movement and organization of the Young Pioneers in Nghe An.

Nghe An has more than 170,000 children, more than 270,000 members studying and participating in 924 teams. In the past 5 years, the movement "Nghe An children compete to implement Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" has been actively implemented by 100% of teams in the whole province with many rich and attractive contents such as the contest "We tell stories of Uncle Ho", "Uncle Ho with children - Children with Uncle Ho", "Uncle Ho in the hearts of Nghe An children". The teams have built a bookshelf "Uncle Ho with children", competing to implement the movement "Children do thousands of good deeds"... Through these activities, nearly 1,000 bookshelf "Uncle Ho with children" have been built.

More than 20,000 children have been awarded “Lighting up Dreams” scholarships with a total value of over 10 billion VND. The Youth Union and Young Pioneer organizations have also built more than 50 new “Red Scarf” houses and supported the construction and repair of nearly 800 playgrounds for children.

With its role and responsibility, over the years, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union has advised local Party committees and authorities in implementing rights and duties as prescribed in the International Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Law on Child Protection, Care and Education; Coordinated with sectors, organizations, social forces, created favorable conditions in terms of facilities, mechanisms, policies and adequate investment for the work of the Youth Union as well as cadres in charge of children...

At the meeting, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh expressed her pleasure to meet the delegation of 130 Uncle Ho's Good Children representing more than 450,000 young Pioneers and children of Nghe An. The Vice President highly appreciated and congratulated the results of the Pioneer work and children's movement that Nghe An has achieved in recent times.

The Vice President hopes that in the coming time, the teenagers and children in Nghe An will continue to compete in studying, working and effectively participating in the movements of the Youth Union and Young Pioneers. Do many good deeds, organize meaningful social activities such as "When drinking water, remember the source - follow in the footsteps of your ancestors", help families with preferential policies, support those who are still facing many difficulties to rise up in life with the spirit of "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves", and help each other in studying and training.

The Vice President also requested that all levels, sectors and mass organizations in Nghe An continue to pay attention and create the best favorable conditions for the education of teenagers and children through practical actions; Always consider the work of nurturing and educating children as a necessary and important task to move towards a better future for the country. Regularly pay attention to the lives of teenagers and children, especially those in difficult circumstances, in mountainous and border areas. Each leader of the Youth Union at all levels, each cadre of the Youth Union - Association - Young Pioneers at all levels must always be concerned and dedicated to building useful programs and movements with profound humanistic educational meaning for teenagers and children. Focus all conditions, resources and human resources to nurture, educate and care for children.
