(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 29, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu and the working delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to policy families and soldiers in Anh Son district.
Also attending were comrades: Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thanh Hien, Tran Van Mao - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu and the delegation visited and offered flowers and incense at the Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, expressing deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the martyrs who fell for the independence of the nation and noble international friendship.

Next, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly visited and presented New Year gifts to officers and soldiers of Phuc Son Border Guard Station; sent New Year wishes to officers and soldiers and their families; hoped that officers and soldiers would continue to firmly protect sovereignty and build a peaceful and friendly border.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also personally presented gifts to two policy families and 28 gifts to 28 policy families in Phuc Son commune, Anh Son town.

Talking to the people, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly happily announced the comprehensive achievements that the country had made in 2017. On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross presented 100 gifts to 100 disadvantaged families and policy families in Anh Son town, Phuc Son and Long Son communes; each gift is worth 1,100,000 VND.
