Joining the school opening atmosphere across the country, on the morning of September 5, Le Mao Primary School (Vinh city) solemnly held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2022 - 2023.

Sharing the joy of the opening day with teachers and students of Le Mao Primary School were comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An; leaders of Vinh city and Le Mao ward.

In the 2022-2023 school year, Le Mao Primary School has more than 1,600 students in 40 classes. This school year, the school implements an advanced international integration model.

In the 2021-2022 school year, despite the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the team of cadres, teachers, staff and students of the school continued to overcome difficulties, make efforts, promote the school's tradition of good teaching and good learning, and excellently complete the school year's tasks. The school was recognized as an excellent labor collective; recognized as a pioneer in the movement to build a Happy School launched by the Vietnam Education Trade Union.

The overall quality and the key quality continue to be affirmed at the top primary school in the city. In the 2021-2022 school year, the school has many students winning prizes in international, national and provincial online competitions. Of which, 79 students won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the International Math Competition via the Internet; 45 students won First, Second and Third prizes in the Provincial Vietnamese Proficiency Competition.

The movement of teaching and learning English in schools is focused. In the 2021-2022 school year, the school had 189 students achieving international English certificates; of which, 10 students achieved B1 and B2 levels.

In the 2022 - 2023 school year with the theme "Solidarity, creativity, striving to successfully complete the tasks and goals of innovation, consolidating and improving the quality of education and training", Le Mao Primary School continues to set the determination to effectively implement the campaigns and emulation movements set forth by the Education and Training sector.

The school also determined to continue to innovate management and teaching direction towards developing students' qualities and capacities; and to improve facilities and techniques according to the criteria of a national standard school.

In particular, this school year, the school has successfully implemented the model of an advanced international integration school starting from grade 1, course 2022 - 2027.

On the occasion of the opening of the new school year, comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council beat the drum to open the new school year 2022 - 2023 and presented flowers and gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to the school.

Leaders of Vinh city and Le Mao ward also gave gifts to the school and students with difficult circumstances who strive to study well.
