Regarding voters' reflections on the complicated situation of buying and selling children, women, and fetuses to China in mountainous districts, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa provided more information about the method, which is that the subjects go to families with pregnant women 6-8 months in mountainous areas, ethnic minorities to lure, entice and take them to China to give birth, then sell the children back to Chinese people, each case from 80 to 140 million VND.
Faced with the above situation, the Provincial People's Committee directed the Provincial Police, functional agencies, Party committees and local authorities to mobilize the strength of the entire political system to deploy the work of preventing and combating human trafficking crimes, achieving many important results. In 2018 and the first 3 months of 2019, the Police force coordinated with functional forces to detect and arrest 27 cases, 48 human trafficking subjects, and coordinated the rescue of 46 victims of trafficking.
At the same time, direct the police of units and localities to strengthen propaganda work on new methods and tricks of this type of crime so that all levels, sectors and people can proactively prevent and stop it effectively.
In addition, the recommendations of voters from localities in the province related to the fields of economic development, culture, education, transportation, policies for people with meritorious services, rural power grid infrastructure, clean water, etc. were answered and clarified by the Provincial People's Committee and reported to the Provincial People's Council.
