Deputy Dean received more than 100 million to correct students' scores
Using lecturers' accounts to hack into the school's network system to fix and raise students' scores from failing to passing, Mr. Diep illegally profited more than 100 million.
Dong Nai police are investigating the case of Mr. Hoang Van Diep (35 years old), former Deputy Head of the Accounting and Finance Department of Dong Nai University of Technology, who abused his position and power to interfere with transcripts to help students pass and fail.

Previously, through the inspection of professional activities at Dong Nai University of Technology, the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the provincial agencies discovered the above violations.
Specifically, from the beginning of 2015 to the middle of this year, Mr. Diep used the accounts of lecturers to hack into the school's score management system to change the scores of failing students into passing ones, raising their grades from average to good, helping them obtain foreign language certificates to qualify for graduation.
After each time he "helped" students correct their scores, Mr. Diep received money from them, thereby illegally profiting more than 100 million VND.
As soon as the incident was discovered, Dong Nai University of Technology and Mr. Diep returned more than 80 million VND to the students.
Mr. Hoang Van Diep was also forced to quit his job by the school.
