It can be said that the School Milk program is currently spreading globally and is considered to have the ability to reduce the burden of medical costs, solve the problem of malnutrition, bring healthy physical and mental development to children, and improve learning outcomes. This is also a model that helps the dairy farming and milk production industry to develop strongly. The School Milk Program has a history of over 100 years in the world. In Asia, the program in Japan is considered a miracle model in improving general height. Started in the 50s of the last century, the School Milk Program has helped increase the average height of Japanese young men from 1m50, the lowest in Asia, to 1m72 today. In 2015, the School Milk program with technical support from Tetra Pak Group reached more than 70 million children in 56 countries. |
