Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanyshina admitted that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine.

Not only that, Ms. Olga also said that the conflict in Ukraine gives Russia "real combat experience with NATO troops, which have been trained according to NATO standards, and are equipped with the latest and most modern weapons from the alliance". In addition, she called on Western politicians not to be short-sighted and subjective because this is also how the Russian army accumulates information and data.

On October 11, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that if Russia wins in Ukraine, it will be “a defeat for all of us.” This statement was interpreted by Russia as NATO’s acknowledgement that the military alliance is actually fighting in Ukraine – a scenario that would mean direct clashes between Russian and NATO forces, meaning the scope of the war would expand to World War III-style.

On October 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that a scenario where NATO forces "encounter" the Russian army would be an imprudent move that could lead to a global disaster.

"I hope that those who talk about this will be wise enough to prevent such a dangerous step from happening," President Putin stressed.
