In the jubilant and solemn atmosphere of the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue beat the drum to officially open the 2019 Cua Lo tourist season, and at the same time opened up expectations for a successful tourist season.

The opening ceremony of the festival has two parts. Part 1 is the opening speech, rituals, and drum beating, and part 2 is the art program. On the morning of April 27, within the framework of the festival, there is also a traditional boat racing festival with the participation of 7 teams.

At the opening night of the festival, delegates and visitors enjoyed a special art program. The program consisted of 3 chapters (Bustling Cua Lo at the age of 25; 50 years of His words forever echoing; Cua Lo's aspirations for a new day). The art program was performed by famous artists and singers such as: My Tam, Doan Trang, Bui Le Man, Tran Trang, Duc Tuan, Ka Sim, Ha Anh Tuan ...
