Nghe An is one of the few localities in Vietnam that the Politburo has issued a separate resolution on. That is Resolution 26 on the direction and tasks for developing Nghe An province until 2020.
“Resolution 26 is a very valuable asset of Nghe An, demonstrating the Party and State's concern for Nghe An,” the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister also informed delegates about planning, investment in transport infrastructure, tourism development, Nghe An's position in the economic regions of Nam Thanh - Bac Nghe and Nam Nghe - Bac Ha...
In particular, the province has had major investors in industrial park infrastructure such as: VSIP, WHA Hemaraj, Hoang Thinh Dat.
Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue said: In the South, there is an image of "if you want to raise big fish, you have to dig a deep pond"; while in the North, there is a common saying "if you want to welcome an eagle, you have to have a big nest".
However, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, although "the pond is deep and the nest is big", there are not many investment projects in Nghe An, especially Japanese investors who have only invested more than 70 million USD, which is not commensurate.
