"What is hindering is the order from the Donald Trump administration that there will be no talks, there will be war. We said 'yes' to talks, and 'no' to war. There will be no war," she said.
According to Delcy Rodriguez, Caracas has faced a "complete political and ideological rejection of Venezuela and the Bolivarian socialist model".
"The order from above is not to have any dialogue. This is the same order that they gave, when we in the Dominican Republic almost reached an agreement, almost signed an agreement at a meeting organized by the Venezuelans to find a solution to Venezuela's problems. Washington believes that Nicolas Maduro should go," said Ms. Rodriguez.
