Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department was transferred to be Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee

Ms. Lam Phuong Thanh, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, has just been assigned by the Politburo to Lang Son to take up the position of Provincial Party Secretary.

On the morning of December 24, in Lang Son City, a conference was held to implement the Politburo's decisions on personnel work. Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, attended and presented the decisions.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee (middle) presented the decision and flowers to Ms. Lam Phuong Thanh and Mr. Tran Sy Thanh.

Accordingly, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to return to the Central Economic Committee; held the position of Deputy Head of the Economic Committee, concurrently Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group.

Ms. Lam Phuong Thanh (born 1967), member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, was appointed Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee to replace Mr. Tran Sy Thanh.

Ms. Lam Phuong Thanh, BA in History, MA in Law, served as Secretary of the Central Youth Union, 8th and 9th terms.

On behalf of the Central Committee, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Tran Sy Thanh and Ms. Lam Phuong Thanh and hoped that in their new positions, the two comrades would strive to achieve even greater achievements./.
