Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An: Clarifying responsibility for exam score fraud
(Baonghean.vn) - Sharing the opinions of voters, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Nguyen Thanh Hien said that it is necessary to clarify the responsibility for the recent exam score cheating in some provinces. The provincial National Assembly Delegation will have opinions on this issue in the upcoming National Assembly session.

Speaking before the National Assembly deputies, voter Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, Nghi Tan ward, Cua Lo town, expressed her indignation at the sexual harassment case in an elevator in Hanoi but was only fined 200,000 VND and requested to complete the legal corridor to have appropriate punishment for those who commit harassment.
Voter Nguyen Thi Hai Yen also requested clarification of the responsibilities of officials and party members who are parents involved in the act of buying grades for their children in Hoa Binh. On the other hand, the issue of school violence was also raised by the female voter and a solution was proposed to rectify it.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province received voters' opinions and emphasized that National Assembly deputies and voters nationwide are extremely upset about the recent acts of sexual harassment and support the view that this issue needs to be strictly handled.
The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province shared voters' concerns about exam score fraud occurring in some provinces and said that he would convey it to the upcoming National Assembly session with the view of continuing to investigate and clarify the responsibilities of those involved for handling.

Regarding school violence, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien said that this is a very hot issue. Believing that the responsibility belongs to the school, the family and the whole society, the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An affirmed: "In the near future, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An will have a voice to make education an environment to train students to become mature."
Frustration over pollution at Cua Lo port
At the conference, voter Mai Van Thuy, Nghi Thuy ward and many other voters of Cua Lo town reflected on the pollution caused by white stone dust and temporary import and re-export of coal dust at Cua Lo port, affecting the lives of people living nearby.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo town Doan Tien Dung attended the conference and said that the town has proposed and received the approval of the Provincial People's Committee to stop the temporary import and re-export of coal dust to Laos. As for the remaining coal dust, the town is proposing to quickly re-export it to resolve the issue. Measures will be applied to minimize pollution during transportation.

Responding to voters' concerns about the progress of the Lan Chau North Island Resort Project, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo town said that up to this point, the province has not yet handed over land to the investor.
Currently, the Provincial People's Committee is assigning the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to appraise the price. It is expected that at the end of April, a council meeting will be held to determine the price, then proceed with land allocation and land use fee collection. At that time, the investor will implement the project.
Regarding environmental protection, delegate Nguyen Thanh Hien affirmed the province's viewpoint of sustainable socio-economic development, through focusing on doing a good job of environmental issues.

Mr. Hien expressed his support for the province's viewpoint of not continuing to temporarily import and re-export coal; the remaining goods must be handled properly so as not to affect people's lives. "This is a complete and responsible way of doing things," said the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An.
Regarding the implementation of projects, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien said that Nghe An is determined to revoke suspended projects with unclear objectives. "The attitude of the province and the town is very clear," Mr. Hien reassured voters.
