Coordinate to build great national unity

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 14, the National Assembly Delegation - Standing Committee of the People's Council - Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to sign the regulations on coordination activities for the 2017 - 2021 term.

To specify the legal provisions on the working relationship between the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the parties agreed to sign the coordination regulations for the 2017-2021 term.

This is the first time the three agencies have signed a regulation on coordinated work activities.

Comrade Tran Van Mao - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation assessed: In 2016, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province regularly had many effective coordination activities on the signed work contents. Notably, they promptly coordinated and organized well the contents in the work of meeting voters at all levels...

However, there are still some limitations that need to be overcome, such as the legal coordination work has not met the requirements; many draft laws and resolutions have not mobilized many contributions; the coordination in resolving voters' petitions is sometimes not timely; many citizen petitions have not been selected for monitoring...

Before agreeing on the content of the signing, the Conference heard some comments on the draft on the work of synthesizing recommendations in voter contacts; procedures and regulations in the work of coordinating tripartite work; proposed to add 1 article in chapter 6 on cooperation in building a friendly border between countries sharing a border...

The conference agreed to sign a coordination charter consisting of 7 chapters and 19 articles with the following basic contents: activities to build the great national unity bloc, propaganda and mobilization work for the people; work to build laws and resolutions of the People's Council; activities to meet voters; work to receive citizens, consider and resolve citizens' denunciations; monitoring activities....
