Extremely "unique" beauty style of women in the world's most mysterious tribe
Many people will get goosebumps when admiring the somewhat extreme beauty treatments of the Surma tribe (Ethiopia) - a mysterious tribe that is still isolated from the modern world outside.
Australian photographer Lousia Seton is the one who took unique photos of the primitive beauty of the Surma people.
They are descended from the Suri and Mursi tribes who live in the Omo River valleys of southwestern Ethiopia. Famine, drought and constant civil war have left them virtually cut off from the outside world.
Facing the risk of her tribe being wiped off the world map, Lousia Seton braved the danger to capture the most authentic pictures of this African tribe's beauty and body decoration.

Surma women carry their babies on their bellies. Traditionally, they carve out their lips and place them inside a clay dish. For them, it is a way to make women more attractive.

Those who are the second or third wives in the family will be immediately recognized by their necks full of metal rings.
Their traditional custom is to have baked clay plates "reinforced" into the lips and ears of every woman when she reaches marriageable age. It is also the formal attire they use in ceremonies.

The tribes in this country are constantly involved in endless civil wars. As a result, many minority tribes have been wiped out, forced to move to other places and life has become increasingly miserable. Men, including boys, are drawn into the brutal wars.
