(Baonghean.vn) - To commemorate the 68th anniversary of the People's Security Force's traditional day, the 52nd anniversary of the People's Police Force's traditional day, and in anticipation of the 67th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), on the morning of July 16, 2014, the Youth Union and Women's Association of the Police Protection and Mobile Unit, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Logistics and Technical Department and the Anh Son District Youth Union, organized a visit and presented gifts to families of war invalids and martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and victims of Agent Orange in Anh Son district.

(Baonghean.vn) - To commemorate the 68th anniversary of the People's Security Force's traditional day, the 52nd anniversary of the People's Police Force's traditional day, and in anticipation of the 67th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), on the morning of July 16, 2014, the Youth Union and Women's Association of the Police Protection and Mobile Unit, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Logistics and Technical Department and the Anh Son District Youth Union, organized a visit and presented gifts to families of war invalids and martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and victims of Agent Orange in Anh Son district.

The working group from the Police Protection and Mobile Unit, the grassroots organization, and the Women's Association directly visited and presented gifts to 8 families of war invalids, martyrs, and victims of Agent Orange, with each gift worth 500,000 VND; and 2 families of Mrs. Ha Thi Duc, Hamlet 11, Hoa Son Commune, and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Block 6A, Anh Son Town, who are Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, with each gift worth 1,000,000 VND. The total value of the gifts was nearly 8,000,000 VND.

Following this, the Head of the Police Protection and Mobile Unit organized nearly 100 youth union members to offer incense and flowers at the Vietnam-Laos International Cemetery and proceeded to clear weeds, clean, and remove vegetation from the entire cemetery area.

This is a meaningful volunteer activity, embodying the spirit of "remembering the source when drinking water," carried out by the Youth Union and Women's Association of the Police Protection and Mobile Unit - Nghe An Provincial Police, in commemoration of the 67th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27).
