Career Cast, a world-renowned job website, has just released its list of the worst jobs of 2015, with news reporter ranking number one.

This list was compiled from surveys and polls of thousands of workers on the career research website CareerCast (careercast.com). News reporter ranked number 1 among the worst jobs, followed by broadcaster in fifth place and photojournalist in sixth.

Thus, three out of the ten worst jobs on the list are in journalism. According to those working in this profession, reporters and journalists often face more hardship, pressure, and danger than manual labor jobs.

The ranking of the worst jobs is based on criteria such as income, career development opportunities, work environment, stress levels, and material needs, as compiled by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
