(Baonghean.vn) - These are outstanding results of the coordination between families, schools and communities of Nghe An education sector for preschool level.

In Nghe An province, in recent years, the coordination between families, schools and communities in the care and education of preschool children has been paid attention to by preschool education facilities in the province and has initially achieved positive results.

Thanks to that, the rate of children attending 2 sessions/day and boarding schools is ensured to be high; the quality of child care and education is gradually improved, the rate of malnourished children is decreasing every year; the socialization of education is highly effective, suitable for each region. Educational institutions have attracted the attention and contributions of many organizations and individuals, and mobilized the support of socio-political organizations to participate in building kindergartens with thousands of working days and valuable artifacts.

Identifying family, school and community is always considered the “golden triangle” of education important to each child. Therefore, in Nghe An province, many models have been effectively implemented.

Speaking at the workshop, delegates shared good experiences such as the model of the "Raising healthy children - Teaching good children" Club to create a bridge between families, schools and communities to support effective implementation of child care and education; the model of "contributing bricks to build schools" in the district.Xiangyang.

Many other localities have hundreds of coordination models to jointly organize activities and jointly supervise school tasks such as revenue and expenditure, boarding organization, etc.

Currently, the "Raising healthy children - Teaching good children" club model of Tuong Duong district has more than 4,500 parents participating. In addition to supporting the school in activities, parents also directly cook afternoon porridge for children at remote schools from their contributions. Thereby, it greatly supports the reduction of malnutrition rate of preschool children in the district. Currently, the rate of malnourished children is decreasing, of which underweight is 5% (down 3.3% compared to 2015), stunted is 7% (down 3.3% compared to 2015).

At the workshop, delegates also frankly pointed out difficulties and shortcomings such as propaganda work, coordination with families, schools and communities in some places is still formal and ineffective; parents' awareness of coordination in nurturing, caring for and educating children is still limited; family responsibility is not high, many parents still rely on and leave everything to the school... On that basis, the workshop discussed solutions to improve the effectiveness of activities and develop contents, forms and methods of coordination.

Concluding the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training affirmed: The coordination between family, school and community in child care and education is both an educational principle and meets practical requirements, suitable to the current local situation.

Currently, family, school and community coordination can take place in many forms, but the most basic issue is that all educational forces must promote a sense of responsibility and proactively create cooperative relationships for the goal of caring for and educating children.
