Not wanting their children to miss school, the people of Nha Tra village still risked their lives to carry and lead their children across the floodwaters to get to school. They left their motorbikes on one side of the road and carried their children across to the other side, many even carried their bicycles along.
It is known that this is the main road for 120 households in Nha Tra village to travel and transport agricultural products such as sugarcane, cassava, acacia, wood, etc. Every day, dozens of students in the village have to go through this road to go to school.
During the rainy season, the roads are often deeply flooded, Nha Tra village is also isolated many times a year, sometimes it takes 4-5 days for the flood water to recede, causing difficulties for people in their daily lives.
