Nghi Loc women launch model 'Turning waste into health insurance cards'
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 7, the Women's Union of Nghi Loc district organized the launch of the model "Turning waste into health insurance cards". This is a pilot model to be replicated throughout the district.
The model of “Turning waste into health insurance cards” of Nghi Loc Women’s Union operates on the principles of voluntariness, equality and socialization, which is to collect and sell scrap and waste to create a fund to buy health insurance for families in difficult circumstances, sick people who cannot afford to participate in health insurance.

This is a meaningful activity to educate women to participate in environmental protection from the smallest actions such as: proactively classifying waste at the source, recycling and using waste into useful products and activities, building a lifestyle and cultural behavior to protect the environment, contributing to effectively implementing the campaign to build a family of 5 no 3 clean.
At the launching ceremony of the Model, the District Women's Union and members of Nghi Thach commune presented 27 Health Insurance cards to 27 members in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 19 million VND.
