Bus assistant "hugs" 39 kg of firecrackers from Laos to sell for profit
(Baonghean.vn) - Hai put 39 kg of firecrackers in 2 cardboard boxes and hid them on a passenger bus, bringing them from Laos to Nghe An to sell for profit.
At 4:00 p.m. on November 14, at the Northern bus station (Nghi Kim commune, Vinh city), the Economic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police caught a subject red-handed for illegally storing and transporting firecrackers.
The arrested subject is Le Van Hai (born in 1979, residing in Quang Son commune, Do Luong district). At the time of being caught, Le Van Hai was illegally transporting 19 boxes of firecrackers (36 pieces) weighing 39kg.
Hai put these fireworks in 2 cardboard boxes and hid them on a passenger bus on the Nghe An - Xieng Khouang route. Hai said he was a bus boy and brought the fireworks back to sell for profit.
The Economic Police Department is completing the file and handling the subject according to the provisions of law.
