Vinh University's admission plan for 2015
According to Dr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, head of the training department at Vinh University, in 2015 the university will use the results of the National High School Graduation Examination as the basis for student admissions nationwide.

According to Mr. Binh, the admission scores for Vinh University in 2015 will vary by major. In addition, there are several other conditions that candidates need to be aware of.
The Vietnamese Studies (Tourism specialization), Social Work, and Teacher Training programs only accept candidates who are physically fit, free from deformities, disabilities, or speech impediments such as stuttering or lisping.
For teacher training programs specifically: In addition to the results of the National High School Graduation Examination, candidates must have a conduct rating of "Good" or higher for all three years of high school (grades 10, 11, and 12).
The Early Childhood Education and Physical Education (ECE) majors will conduct aptitude tests in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Training's admission regulations and the aptitude test procedures and criteria of Vinh University for Early Childhood Education and Physical Education majors.
The aptitude test for the Early Childhood Education major (weighted 2) includes: Singing; Expressive Reading and Storytelling. A minimum score for the aptitude test will be required during the admission process. The aptitude test for the Physical Education major (weighted 2) includes: Standing Long Jump; 30m Zigzag Run; 100m Run. Only candidates meeting the following criteria will be considered: Males must be at least 1.65m tall and weigh at least 45kg; Females must be at least 1.55m tall and weigh at least 40kg.
For English Language Teaching and English Language majors, the English subject is weighted with a multiplier of 2.
Mr. Binh also added that out of 5150 regular university enrollment quotas, 900 are for teacher training programs.
