Cua Lo Ward proposes a plan to renovate the forest park east of Binh Minh road to serve the 2026 tourist season.

During Typhoon No. 10 in late September 2025, the seawall and pedestrian walkways in Cua Lo and the forest park east of Binh Minh road suffered severe damage. To ensure the 2026 tourist season is not affected and to guarantee the smooth flow of traffic for residents, the People's Committee of Cua Lo Ward requests the Provincial People's Committee to allow repairs to the seawall and pedestrian walkways; to use sea sand to fill in the eroded areas; and to green the forest park east of Binh Minh road.

Photo: Vinh HoangAccording to Mr. Hoang Minh Tho, Deputy Head of the Economic and Infrastructure Department of Cua Lo Ward, in response to the damage caused by Typhoon No. 10 and to avoid impacting tourism activities in 2026, the ward has reported to the Provincial People's Committee requesting approval to repair damaged sections of the embankment and coastal promenade. Regarding the erosion in the forest park east of Binh Minh road, Cua Lo Ward has proposed a remediation plan using sand from the alluvial deposits to fill the areas, followed by the beautification of the promenade system, planting trees and grass to create a landscaped environment. It has been learned that on December 10, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued a directive to the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and consider the proposal from the People's Committee of Cua Lo Ward regarding the use of beach sand to reorganize the layout of the forest park east of Binh Minh road. The Department of Agriculture and Environment has planned a field inspection to prepare for advising the Provincial People's Committee on the proposal from the People's Committee of Cua Lo Ward.
