Ha Huy Tap Ward celebrates 35th anniversary of establishment and receives Second Class Labor Medal

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of September 11, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the ward's establishment (1982 - 2017) and receive the Second Class Labor Medal.

Attending the event were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Huu Lam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of provincial departments and branches, Vinh City People's Committee, related departments and branches, and a large number of leaders, cadres and people of Ha Huy Tap ward.

In 1982, Ha Huy Tap ward - Vinh city was officially established on the basis of separation from Hung Binh ward according to Decision No. 137/HDBT dated August 18, 1982 of the Council of Ministers (now the Government).

Up to now, Ha Huy Tap ward has had steady development in all aspects: The economy has grown quite well, the economic structure has shifted in the right direction, the average annual growth rate has reached 9.2%; the average added value per capita in 2016 reached 50.1 million VND.

People's living standards have been constantly improved, the number of rich and well-off households has increased, the poverty rate is only 0.19%, the near-poor rate is 0.21%. Management of planning, land, urban areas, urban order, and environmental sanitation has made much progress and is increasingly becoming more organized.

The whole ward has 22/22 blocks recognized as cultural blocks; 15 residential groups, 61 civilized alleys have been built; the average rate of cultural families is 94%, sports families is 53% - one of the first units in the city to meet the criteria of a cultural ward, a ward meeting urban civilized standards.

For many consecutive years, the Ward has achieved the title of Leading Flag in the movement "All people protect national security" in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016. For 10 consecutive years, it has achieved the title of a decisive victory unit and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Public Security.

Party building work has received attention, internal solidarity and unity, leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee have been affirmed. The effectiveness and efficiency of state management and administration have been improved.

The activities of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations have many innovations, contributing significantly to creating high unity within the Party Committee and consensus among the people. For 13 consecutive years (2004 - 2016), the Ward Party Committee was recognized as a Strong and Clean Party Committee (in which from 2009 to 2016 it achieved the title of exemplary Strong and Clean); the government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations of the ward were ranked excellent by the city.

On this occasion, authorized by the President, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Huy Tap Ward; the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee was personally awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 9 outstanding collectives and individuals; Vinh City People's Committee presented a congratulatory banner to the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Huy Tap Ward./.
