Phuong Oanh: 'I worked as a porter and lost 7 kg'
"I work hard, being both a boss and a servant... not excluding anything, including porterage," Phuong Oanh revealed her current life, when she knows how to "control her emotions" and enjoy life with positive energy.
After making an impression with the role of Nam in the movie "The Taste of Love", Phuong Oanh has been "silent" on the small screen for the past 9 months. Recently, the actress has reappeared with a new image.
No longer a "rich daughter-in-law", "Shark Long's wife" with a chubby figure, Phuong Oanh is now slim and extremely attractive.

"When filming "The Taste of Love", Phuong Oanh liked to choose the image of Nam who was a bit chubby and healthy and luckily everyone loved her character.
However, recently Oanh decided to pursue a passion that she had nurtured for 6 years. To make her image more suitable for the new milestone in her life and the nature of her work, Oanh decided to lose weight," Phuong Oanh revealed to Dan Tri reporter.
The motivation for Phuong Oanh to lose weight is her passion for fashion. The actress first appeared as a designer, launching her own fashion line and launching a collection of office wear for the summer, while also taking on the job of a "model".

After Tet, she started a strict weight loss process, and within 3 months, the actress reached her desired weight.
"Oanh lost weight quickly partly thanks to her body type, plus she has a certain understanding of how to lose weight safely. Along with a scientific diet, Oanh regularly works out at the gym 2-3 times a week to keep her body toned. When she started losing weight, Oanh weighed about 58 kg, now she weighs about 51 kg, a loss of 7 kg," the actress revealed.
Phuong Oanh said that since she was little, she knew how to help her mother with business, renting comic books to her classmates to make a profit...
In 2016, Phuong Oanh successfully opened a clothing store. But the success of "Quynh Doll" in 2017 brought Phuong Oanh's life to a new turn.
Receiving the love of the audience, she continuously accepted new TV drama projects, continuing to make her mark with "The Girl from Someone Else's House" and most recently "The Taste of Love".
"I want to challenge myself to do anything. I am no one, but I will be everything. That is how Phuong Oanh enjoys a colorful life," the actress expressed.
"Oanh is so lucky to be able to transform into the image of a unique but also very introverted Phuong Nam, with many scenes that touch the audience's hearts.
Previously, Oanh was constantly pursuing roles because she felt it was not enough, but now, Oanh is satisfied and happy to contribute and satisfy her passion. Oanh feels that she has matured and become more profound. This is the right time for Oanh to continue to realize her ambition and love for fashion that she has nurtured for the past 6 years.
That said, it doesn't mean Oanh will stop her acting career here. At this stage, because she is building the first bricks, Oanh prioritizes focusing on fashion. Oanh also misses the audience, misses the feeling that the film crew always considers each other as a family, so perhaps, Oanh will return soon," the actress revealed.
When asked why Phuong Oanh always stays on the sidelines of film awards, she said she works hard for her love of the profession and the audience, without expecting to achieve this title or that achievement.
"Many people ask me why I don't choose beautiful roles but instead play the roles of ethnic girls, country teachers, engineers working hard at construction sites... The only reason is that I like the feeling of conquering. I want to challenge myself to do anything. I am no one, but I will be everything. That is how Phuong Oanh enjoys a colorful life," said the actress.
She also affirmed that she never wanted to "take advantage of herself" or her fame after her roles to serve her personal interests. She wanted to make efforts and try hard on her own.
"I worked hard, being both the boss and the servant, from choosing an office, setting up a workshop to designing,... leaving nothing out, including loading and unloading. There were late shipments, at 8pm, when all the employees had gone home, I also rushed out to carry, with 5 legs and 10 arms, truly a porter. Working brought me simple joys," Phuong Oanh said.
The actress confided that the greatest thing she has now is knowing how to control her emotions. She admitted that in art, sometimes she lets her emotions control her too much, and becomes sentimental. But now, when doing art and business in parallel, she keeps a cool head and a warm heart.
If before, Phuong Oanh was busy from morning to night, spending all her time outside the film set, not wearing new clothes for the whole year, never wearing a watch or handbag, now, when she is taking a break, she slowly enjoys life.

The actress said that she has not yet achieved financial freedom, just sitting around and money will grow by itself, so she still needs to put in a lot of effort to try hard at work.
Passionate about her work, Phuong Oanh is currently still single. Two years after breaking up with her boyfriend, she has yet to accept a relationship. Talking about her ideal "dream guy", Phuong Oanh said: "That man must have interests and a lifestyle that are compatible with mine. In addition, like every girl, I admire successful, talented, knowledgeable people."
When the reporter mentioned the trend of Vietnamese entertainment beauties choosing younger lovers and partners, Phuong Oanh affirmed: "I will only love older men. I believe that older age means they are more experienced, making me more respectful. For a person with a strong personality like me, only a man like that can share, talk, and understand."
