"I throw myself into everything, being both the boss and the employee... nothing is excluded, even loading and unloading," Phuong Oanh revealed about her current life, as she has learned to "control her emotions" and enjoy life with positive energy.

After making a mark with her role as Nam in the film "The Taste of Family Love," Phuong Oanh has been "silent" on the small screen for the past 9 months. Recently, the actress reappeared with a new image.

No longer the "daughter-in-law of a wealthy family" or "Shark Long's wife" with a chubby figure, Phuong Oanh is now slim and incredibly attractive.

"During the filming of 'The Taste of Family Love,' Phuong Oanh preferred to portray Nam as somewhat chubby and healthy, and luckily, she found that everyone loved her character."

However, recently Oanh decided to pursue a passion she had cherished for six years. To better suit this new milestone in her life and the nature of her work, Oanh decided to lose weight," Phuong Oanh revealed to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper.

The motivation behind Phuong Oanh's weight loss is her passion for fashion. The actress made her debut as a designer, launching her own fashion line and releasing a collection of office wear for summer, while also taking on the role of "model".

After the Lunar New Year, she began a strict weight loss program, and within three months, the actress achieved her desired weight.

"Oanh lost weight quickly partly due to her body type, plus she has a certain understanding of how to lose weight safely. Alongside a scientific diet, Oanh regularly goes to the gym 2-3 times a week to keep her body toned. When she started losing weight, Oanh weighed about 58 kg, now she weighs about 51 kg, a loss of 7 kg," the actress revealed.

Phuong Oanh recounted that since childhood, she had helped her mother with the business, renting out comic books to her classmates to earn a profit...

In 2016, Phuong Oanh achieved success by opening a clothing store. But the success of "Quynh the Doll" in 2017 led Phuong Oanh's life down a new path.

Receiving the love and affection of the audience, she continuously took on new television drama projects, continuing to make her mark with "The Girl Next Door" and most recently "The Taste of Family Love".

"I want to challenge myself to be able to do anything. I'm not just anyone, I'll be everything. That's how Phuong Oanh enjoys a colorful life," the actress expressed.

"Oanh is so lucky to have the opportunity to embody the image of Phuong Nam, a character who is both strong-willed and deeply emotional, with many scenes that touch the hearts of the audience."

Previously, Oanh relentlessly pursued acting roles because she felt it wasn't enough, but now, she is delighted and happy to be able to contribute and fulfill her passion. Oanh recognizes that she has matured and become more insightful. This is the right time for her to continue pursuing her ambitions and love for fashion, which she has nurtured for the past six years.

That being said, it doesn't mean Oanh will stop her acting career here. At this stage, because she's laying the first bricks, Oanh is prioritizing focusing on fashion. Oanh also misses the audience and the feeling of the film crew always treating each other like family, so perhaps Oanh will return soon," the actress revealed.

When asked why she always stays on the sidelines of film awards, Phuong Oanh said that she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to her profession and her audience, without expecting to win any titles or achievements.

"Many people ask me why I don't choose beautiful roles but instead embody characters like ethnic girls, rural teachers, or engineers working hard on construction sites... There's only one reason: I love the feeling of conquering challenges. I want to challenge myself to be able to do anything. I'm not just anyone, I'll be everything. That's how Phuong Oanh enjoys a colorful life," the actress said.

She also affirmed that she never wanted to "exploit herself" or her fame from her roles to serve her personal needs. She wanted to work hard and strive for success on her own.

"I threw myself into it, acting as both boss and employee, from choosing the office and setting up the workshop to designing... I didn't shy away from any task, even loading and unloading. There were late deliveries, at 8 pm, when all the staff had gone home, but I still rushed out to carry things, working with all my might, truly a manual laborer. Labor brought me simple joys," Phuong Oanh recounted.

The actress confided that her greatest achievement now is learning to control her emotions. She admitted that, in the arts, sometimes emotions can get the better of you, making you overly sentimental. But now, balancing art and business, she maintains a cool head alongside a warm heart.

Previously, Phuong Oanh was constantly busy, spending all her time on film sets, going a whole year without wearing new clothes, and rarely having time to wear watches or handbags. But now, during her break, she is slowly enjoying life.

The actress stated that she hasn't yet achieved financial freedom, where money would grow on its own without doing anything, so she still needs to put in a lot of effort to work hard.

Passionate about her work, Phuong Oanh is currently single. Two years after breaking up with her boyfriend, she still hasn't accepted a new relationship. Speaking about her "dream man," Phuong Oanh said: "He must have interests and a lifestyle that match mine. Also, like any girl, I admire successful, talented, and knowledgeable men."

When a reporter mentioned the trend of Vietnamese female celebrities choosing younger partners, Phuong Oanh affirmed: "I will only date older men. I believe that older age means they are more experienced and easily inspire respect. For a strong-willed person like me, only such a man can share, converse, and understand me."
