The West warns Ukraine of a 'new Avdeevka' scenario
(Baonghean.vn) - Western analysts believe that the chain of collapses in Ukraine's Avdeevka has not stopped. Russian armed forces will continue to gain control in other areas around Donetsk. And Ukraine will have to face the appearance of a "new Avdeevka".

According to Ria Novosti, senior intelligence analyst of the Global Guardian security company, Zev Feintush, in an interview with Newsweek magazine (USA), said that Russia will continue to gain control in the territories near Donetsk, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces will face new disasters similar to the retreat in Avdeevka.
“If the US aid bill is not passed soon, there will be another ‘Avdeevka’, when Russia will use this opportunity to consolidate its successes near Donetsk,” said expert Zev Feintush.
According to Feintush, after taking full control of the fortified stronghold of Avdeevka, Russia has gained a flatter frontline terrain, creating favorable conditions for further attacks in the Donetsk region.
The failure in Donetsk has led to a crisis in Ukraine’s overall strategy, analysts say. According to Mr. Feintus, President Volodymyr Zelensky is unlikely to convince young Ukrainians to fight to the end in fortresses like Bakhmut or Avdeevka, in order to preserve the current front line.
"Ukraine is in a weaker position in terms of both the number of soldiers and the number of weapons and ammunition, and does not have a multi-layered defense system with solid fortifications stretching along the front line. And it seems that President Zelensky is falling into a political trap," said analyst Feintush.
This is Kiev's weakness that Russia has been taking advantage of, causing them to continuously gain territory in recent times, despite Ukraine's defense efforts./.
