The West plans to send AI drones to Ukraine
(Baonghean.vn) - The West intends to provide Ukraine with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) equipped with artificial intelligence. When deployed for attacks, these UAVs will be arranged into "troops" and coordinate attacks, while the operator will not need to operate each one individually.

According to RT news agency, Bloomberg, citing its own sources, said that Britain, along with its allies, including the US, plans to transfer thousands of new drones with artificial intelligence to Ukraine. According to the developers, such drones will be able to simultaneously attack Russian targets.
The weapons are promised to be delivered to Ukraine within months, but it warned that the timeline could change.
There is a global race to develop new technologies that will determine the wars of the future, according to Bloomberg. And Russia is ramping up production of its own drones.
Meanwhile, Ukraine is currently suffering from a severe shortage of artillery. Experts say the situation could become so dire in the coming months that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have to focus on a narrower front of the war.
While the new generation of drones will not be able to completely meet Ukraine’s urgent need for artillery shells, they could alleviate the shortage somewhat, experts say. As such, AI-enabled drones will be deployed in “battalions” and will communicate with each other without requiring individual operators to control each one.
Admiral Rob Bauer, chairman of the NATO Military Committee, said in an interview with Bloomberg that the West and Russia are in an “endless race” to develop advanced technologies.
