Each month, the fishermen spend about 25 days at sea. A working day for the three-net fishing boats usually lasts more than 15 hours, and on unlucky days, the crew members have to stay up all night to untangle the nets. Therefore, they have little time to rest, and they mainly sleep to regain their strength. |

The netting usually starts from 5am to 8am. The fishermen then rest for about 3 hours and then continue working until late at night. While working, the things that help them forget their tiredness are jokes and nets full of fish. Photo: Tien Hung. |

Inside the cramped cabin, the captains' chatter over the walkie-talkie was so loud that many crew members went up to the roof to sleep. | During breaks, sailors often take advantage of this time to clean themselves. "On the ship, all the crew members consider each other as a family and consider the sea their home.
