Piaggio Vietnam has announced a recall program for 10,072 Vespa Primavera scooters to fix a defect in the braking system.

Piaggio stated that the brake fluid lines on more than 10,000 Primavera scooters produced between September 30, 2013, and April 17, 2014, were not installed correctly according to Piaggio Group's quality standards. This defect could lead to brake fluid leakage when the scooter is operated on uneven roads for extended periods, reducing the effectiveness of the braking system.

Piaggio Vietnam has officially initiated a recall to inspect and rectify a defect by replacing the oil line. The inspection and repair are estimated to take approximately 30-45 minutes. All inspection and repair services are provided free of charge.
