New solar battery is 80% lighter than traditional batteries

eArche has developed a new solar panel capable of delivering 40 kW of power using new technology. The company has developed a composite material used in aircraft windows that is 80% lighter than conventional photovoltaic panels.

eArche's new product is being distributed through Energus (Australia) and SunMan (Hong Kong) with the hope that eArche will become the biggest innovation in the solar industry in 10 years.

Some companies can’t install solar panels on the roofs of their buildings because they’re too heavy, but eArche’s new technology could eliminate that problem. According to The Daily Advertiser, eArche’s panels weigh just 2 tons for a capacity of 100kW.
