'Turkish Pogba' makes Galatasaray first team debut at age 14
Midfielder Mustafa Kapi, born in 2002, was brought onto the field in the second half of the friendly match between Galatasaray and Levski Sofia on the evening of October 8.
“14-year-old Mustafa Kapi made his first appearance for the Galatasaray first team tonight,” the Turkish club announced on their Twitter account on October 8.
The teenager is said to have a similar playing style to Paul Pogba – the world's most expensive star at Man Utd. Both Kapi and the 23-year-old French international are box-to-box midfielders.
In a friendly win over Levski Sofia with a result of 2-0, Kapi was brought on by the Galatasaray coach at the end of the second half.
The player did not have much of an impact on the team's overall play, but pictures showed Kapi was happy to be given the chance to show his talent. The young talent ran to hug coach Jan Olde Riekerink immediately after the final whistle.

Kapi, who turned 14 in August, has been playing for Galatasaray's youth academy for the past three years, after moving from hometown club Denizlispor.
A week before that, Celtic also brought 13-year-old prodigy Karamoko Dembele to play for the U20 team, at the U20 Scotland tournament.
