Porsche Macan 2019 revealed on test track
Porsche's SUV has slight changes in appearance, unchanged chassis and uses a new engine type.
More than a year after testing the facelifted 2019 Macan, clear, uncamouflaged images of the SUV have emerged. The facelifted Macan is expected to debut in the fall, possibly at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The 2019 Macan has a wider front bumper. The headlight cluster design remains unchanged, but the LED bulbs inside have been rearranged. At the rear of the car, the taillight cluster has a slight change in the internal shape. The appearance of the 2019 Macan is completed with a new set of wheels.
In the previous appearance, the interior of the 2019 Macan did not change much, the style of using a touch screen instead of mechanical keys like on the new generation Panamera and the 3rd generation Cayenne was not applied. Many people hope that the cabin will be edited when officially launched with two 7-inch screens behind the steering wheel, while the center console uses a 12.3-inch touch screen.

Audi has not yet introduced a new Q5 version, so the Macan still uses the previous chassis platform. Mechanical upgrades could come in the form of a new suspension system, to increase the stability of the body when cornering.
Meanwhile, the current 3.0 and 3.6 V6 engines will be replaced by 2.9 and 3.0 V6 engines, and a hybrid version may be added. Current competitors of the Macan such as the Jaguar F-Pace SVR have power up to 550 horsepower, so it is likely that the new Macan will have similar specifications.
The Macan is one of Porsche's best-selling products globally, sitting below the Cayenne. The compact luxury SUV competes with rivals such as the Mercedes GLC, BMW X3, Volvo XC60, with a one-step advantage in driving feel.
