Nghe An: Highlights of January 18th
On January 18th, in preparation for the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, many leaders of the Party, State, and National Assembly visited Nghe An province to offer greetings, gifts, and New Year wishes to policy beneficiary families and poor households. Meanwhile, in Vinh City, the 2025 Spring Press Festival and the 2024 Golden Hammer and Sickle Journalism Award Ceremony were solemnly held.
*On the morning of January 18th, Comrade Do Van Chien - Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - on behalf of the Party and State leaders, visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged workers and poor households in Nghe An province on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake).
In Vinh City, Comrade Do Van Chien and other delegates attended.The program "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party"Organized by the Provincial Labor Union, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and provincial leaders presented Tet gifts to 200 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances. Each gift package was worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and other gifts.
On the same day, Comrade Do Van Chien visited, presented gifts, and extended New Year greetings to policy beneficiary families and poor households in the following districts:Dien Chau,Thanh ChuongandDo Luong.
*On January 18th, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang - Member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council - visitedVisiting, giving gifts, and wishing Happy New Year.Families receiving government assistance and families in difficult circumstances in Mai Giang commune, Thanh Chuong district.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang presented 200 gifts to policy beneficiary families and families in difficult circumstances in Mai Giang commune.
* On January 18th, Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security, and National Assembly representative from Nghe An province - returned.Giving gifts and wishing Happy New Year.Families receiving government assistance and families in difficult circumstances in the communes of Quy Hop and Tan Ky districts.
In the two districts, Comrade Tran Duc Thuan presented 70 gifts to families entitled to preferential policies and poor households.
* On the morning of January 18th, at the Vinh City Conference Center, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Nghe An Journalists Association, and the Department of Information and Communications, in coordination with the Vinh City Party Committee and People's Committee, organized an event.Opening Ceremony of the Spring Press Festival 2025 (Year of the Snake).
This year's Spring Press Festival in the Year of the Snake features more than 13 exhibition booths from press agencies, magazines, and publishing houses nationwide, showcasing outstanding journalistic publications reflecting pressing issues in social life and forecasts of development trends in 2025.
* Also on the morning of January 18th,Organizing Committee of the "Golden Hammer and Sickle - Nghe An 2024" Journalism AwardOrganizing the Award Ceremony and launching the campaign to encourage participation in the National Journalism Award on Party Building and the "Golden Hammer and Sickle - Nghe An 2025" Journalism Award.
This year's Golden Hammer and Sickle Journalism Award in Nghe An province received 122 entries across five categories: television, radio, print media, online media, and photojournalism.
The Organizing Committee selected 42 outstanding works to honor and award prizes, including 4 First Prizes, 8 Second Prizes, 13 Third Prizes, 17 Consolation Prizes, and 4 outstanding thematic works on the topic of Party building.
* On the morning of January 18th, the Standing Committee of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee organized...Decision announcement ceremonyApproved to retain the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
At the ceremony, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 3048-QD/TU of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee dated January 3, 2025, approving the appointment of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Accordingly, Comrade Hoang Danh Truyen - Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Yen Thanh District People's Committee - was approved to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
