Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien presents Tet gifts to poor households in Dien Chau district
On the morning of January 18, comrade Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central working delegation, Nghe An province visited and presented Tet gifts to poor households and people in difficult circumstances in Dien Loc commune, Dien Chau district.
The delegation included comrade Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Attending the program, on the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; and the Standing Committee of Dien Chau District Party Committee.
Speaking at the Tet gift giving program, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front shared the difficulties of many poor and near-poor households in Dien Loc commune. Comrade Do Van Chien affirmed that our Party and State always pay attention to the poor and families in difficult circumstances. The meaningful activities of the Party and State leaders and organizations, unions and localities on the occasion of Tet aim to share with those in difficult circumstances, ensuring that everyone and every family has Tet, no one is left behind.
The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front hopes that the people of Dien Loc commune will continue to promote solidarity, develop the economy together, and take care of their lives. In particular, poor households and people in difficult circumstances, with the help of all levels and sectors, will gradually become well-off and rich households.
Comrade Do Van Chien wished all cadres, party members and people of Dien Loc commune in particular and Dien Chau district in general a healthy and happy new year 2025, together fostering great solidarity to realize the development goals of the homeland and country.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Comrade Do Van Chien - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, together with leaders of Nghe An province, presented 100 Tet gifts to 100 poor households and households in difficult circumstances in Dien Loc commune. Each gift is worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and gifts worth 300,000 VND.
To take care of Tet for the poor in the area, in recent years, Dien Chau district has organized many practical programs, encouraging households to welcome a happy and healthy Spring. This year, Dien Chau district called for and mobilized nearly 3.9 billion VND, giving more than 6,000 gifts to poor households and families in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung presented support of 500 million VND to Dien Chau district to build a livelihood model for poor households in the district.
