Donating charity houses and Tet gifts to encourage people in difficult circumstances in Nghe An
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on January 16 and 17, the units organized to give charity houses and Tet gifts to poor households in localities across the province.
*Nghe An Provincial Children's Support FundCoordinated with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Con Cuong, Anh Son, Yen Thanh and Quynh Luu districts to organize a program to give Tet gifts to children in difficult circumstances in the area.
Accordingly, 200 Tet gifts were handed to 200 children in 4 districts, each gift included 500,000 VND in cash and a gift bag worth 200,000 VND; with a total value of up to 140 million VND. This funding source includes cash sponsored by Zhi-Shan Foundation and gifts drawn from the mobilization of the Nghe An Provincial Children's Fund.
Practical gifts not only bring a warmer and more fulfilling Tet to children and their families, but also demonstrate the community's care and sharing for children in especially difficult circumstances, children in remote areas and ethnic minority children.
This meaningful activity contributes to spreading the humane message, calling on the community to join hands to care for poor children so that every child can welcome a spring full of love.
*Provincial Police Logistics DepartmentCoordinated with sponsors to present 1 house of gratitude and 30 gifts to poor households in difficult circumstances and policy families in the mountainous district of Que Phong.
The family of Mr. Luong Van Giang in Khoang Do village, Chau Kim commune, Que Phong was given a house of gratitude, worth 150 million VND. It is known that Mr. Luong Van Giang is a member of the grassroots security and order protection team in Khoang Do village, Chau Kim commune. His family's situation is very difficult, he is the only one taking care of his sick elderly parents and young children.
On this occasion, the unit presented 30 Tet gifts to 30 poor households with especially difficult circumstances in Chau Kim commune; each gift included a gift bag worth 150,000 VND and 500,000 VND in cash. Leaders of the Logistics Department visited and presented Tet gifts to the officers and soldiers of Chau Kim commune police.
The gifts are contributions from the staff and soldiers of the Logistics Department, showing concern and encouragement for the people and police officers of Chau Kim commune to have a warm and joyful Tet./.
