Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien presents Tet gifts to poor households and presents welfare projects to Do Luong district
On the afternoon of January 18, comrade Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central working delegation, Nghe An province visited and presented Tet gifts to poor households and people in difficult circumstances in Do Luong district.

Joining the delegation was comrade Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Attending the program, on the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; comrades of the Standing Committee of Do Luong District Party Committee.
Speaking at the program of giving Tet gifts to the poor in 3 communes: Nam Son, Bac Son and Dang Son, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien affirmed that our Party and State always care about the poor and families in difficult circumstances.
On the occasion of Lunar New Year, leaders of the Party, State, mass organizations and localities organized many programs to share with people in difficult circumstances, ensuring that everyone and every family had a Tet holiday, and no one was left behind.


The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front acknowledged the positive changes of Do Luong district in the overall development of Nghe An. Therefore, he hoped that the poor and disadvantaged people in Do Luong district would strive to overcome difficulties and become well-off and rich households. In that process, there is support and assistance from all levels and sectors, but the internal strength of poor households plays a decisive role.
The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front wished the people of Do Luong district to achieve more results in the new year. In the process of development, people need to join hands to preserve the living environment, unite to build a rich and beautiful homeland.



Comrade Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, together with leaders of Nghe An province, presented 130 Tet gifts to 130 poor households and households in difficult circumstances in 3 communes: Nam Son, Bac Son and Dang Son, Do Luong district. The total value of the gifts is 130 million VND, each gift is worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and gifts worth 300 thousand VND.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, together with the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, presented 500 million VND to Do Luong district to build a livelihood model for poor households in the district.


The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and provincial leaders also presented a multi-purpose online classroom equipment system to Dang Son Commune Kindergarten.
To take care of the poor in the area to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025, Do Luong district organized many practical programs, encouraging households to celebrate the Lunar New Year happily and healthily. The district called for and mobilized more than 4.8 billion VND (exceeding the initial target of 4 billion VND) to give Tet gifts to 100% of poor and near-poor households in the area. At the same time, the district gave Tet gifts to policy families, households in difficult circumstances, and vulnerable groups.
