PSG have great motivation before the away match at Dijon because in the early match, competitor Monaco lost to Lyon.

The capital club took advantage of the opportunity to increase the gap to six points. However, the way PSG won against Dijon became dramatic when both sides took turns scoring late in the match.

Before seeing the goal, the home crowd had to hold their breath twice when the ball found the Dijon goal. First was a free kick from Dani Alves and then a header from centre-back Marquinhos.

However, luck could not protect the home team's goal forever. Thomas Meunier opened the scoring for PSG with a close-range shot after a series of threatening situations against Dijon. The right-back's goal had the mark of Neymar, whose shot caused goalkeeper Baptiste Reynet to push the ball right to Meunier's position.

The home team equalized just three minutes before the official end of the match with a great goal from Benjamin Jeannot. The striker wearing the number 29 shirt volleyed the ball from 25 meters away, straight into the PSG goal and without giving goalkeeper Alphonse Areola time to react.

It seemed that Dijon had successfully held PSG back, but Meunier played the role of "lucky god" in the second minute of extra time. Mbappe's cross went across the goal and landed right where the defender was standing without anyone marking him. In a favorable position, the Belgian star did not miss the opportunity to complete his double.

This victory helps PSG have 25 points after the first nine rounds in Ligue I. The two teams behind, Monaco and Lyon, have 19 and 16 points respectively.
