Veteran player John Terry could be dropped by Mourinho.
Putting aside personal feelings between manager and player, John Terry is predicted to have a very difficult time securing a place at Stamford Bridge next season, given that Jose Mourinho is prioritizing finding new players for Chelsea. Last season, the Blues' captain was no longer favored by the Portuguese manager, and if the same happens this season, it could be the last season the English center-back wears the blue shirt of the wealthy London club.
It is known that Jose Mourinho recently officially stated that he will let players who are not in his plans leave – possibly on loan – and John Terry is very likely to be one of them.
Liverpool surprisingly express interest in signing Atletico Madrid's young star.
Liverpool are looking to secure their seventh signing of the summer, Javi Manquillo – the 20-year-old defender currently playing for Atletico Madrid. It is understood that the young player will travel to the Merseyside club today (August 4th) to undergo a medical examination, and if everything goes smoothly, The Kop will have Manquillo's services for two years on a loan deal.
Despite being "tired" of Liverpool, Reina is still "unsold".
Despite declaring he is no longer interested in returning to The Kop after losing his number one spot at Anfield to goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, Pepe Reina has yet to be rescued by any club.
AC Milan are known to be big fans of Pepe Reina, however, the goalkeeper's salary is the main obstacle making the deal difficult. And if he cannot leave, Pepe Reina will have to remain under Liverpool's management for another two seasons before he can decide his own future.
Sunderland are about to sign a "flop" from Man City.
Manchester City's expensive young star, Jack Rodwell, seems unlikely to secure a regular starting place at the Etihad Stadium, and the English press has begun speculating about his departure. It is understood that bookmakers in England believe Sunderland is the team with the best chance of acquiring the injury-plagued midfielder. Everton is also considered another potential target for Rodwell's signature.
Is Diego Lopez about to leave Bernabeu?
Spanish newspapers are speculating that Real Madrid's number one goalkeeper from last season, Diego Costa, is likely to move to Ligue 1 and play for AS Monaco.
Currently, besides Diego Lopez, the Bernabeu stadium has two other promising goalkeepers: Iker Casillas and newcomer Keylor Navas. Therefore, the departure of this "new yet familiar" goalkeeper is not surprising to many. Before returning to Real Madrid, Diego Lopez was also sold in 2007. It is known that if he joins Monaco, Lopez will receive a three-year contract with a salary of €5.5 million per season.
Real Madrid are eyeing AC Milan's young star.
In a recent statement, coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed his desire to acquire the services of Italian player Mattia De Sciglio, currently on the books of AC Milan.
Despite being only 21 years old, De Sciglio has already played three seasons for AC Milan. He is a target that the Italian strategist wants to bring to the Bernabeu to improve Los Blancos' right wing. However, it is not certain that Coach Ancelotti's ambition will become a reality, as De Sciglio himself recently stated that he wants to stay at San Siro for at least one more season.
Luiz Gustavo could be wearing the Los Blancos shirt.
The Brazilian midfielder, formerly of Bayern Munich, has unexpectedly caught the eye of coach Carlo Ancelotti. With Sami Khedira's future becoming quite uncertain, the Italian strategist wants to accelerate negotiations to secure the player's services.
Gustavo only joined Wolfsburg last season and his contract with the club runs until 2018; however, that hasn't stopped Real Madrid from keeping an eye on him. If Sami Khedira does leave, Real Madrid could comfortably release Luis Gustavo from his €33 million contract without fear of violating Financial Fair Play regulations.
Mario Balotelli ignores Arsenal, prepares to join Liverpool.
Despite Arsenal's relentless pursuit, it's possible that the "bad boy" will join the red of Merseyside. Italian sources report that Balotelli will fly to England in the coming days to negotiate contract terms with Liverpool. Although the San Siro club has stated they are 99.99% certain not to sell Balotelli, if The Kop makes a reasonable offer to AC Milan, the remaining 0.01% will be theirs.
