Pu Sai Cang resettlement area was completed and handed over to the locality in June 2024, but until now, many families out of 33 households in the area at risk of flash floods and landslides of Muong Phu and Muong Piet villages, Thong Thu border commune (Que Phong) are still "entrenched" in their old residence.

(Baonghean.vn) - For many years, 33 households affected by landslides caused by the terrible floods that occurred in 2018 in Muong Phu, Muong Piet, Thong Thu commune (Que Phong) still live in fear every time the rainy and stormy season comes because they do not have a new place to relocate.

Abandoned resettlement area, dozens of households are on the brink of a river abyss.

(Baonghean.vn) - 126 households in Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district (Nghe An) are in the landslide and flash flood area and need to be relocated, of which 33 households need to be urgently relocated in Muong Piet and Muong Phu villages. Notably, not far from these two villages, there is a resettlement area that has been unfinished and abandoned for nearly ten years.
