On July 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had invited his US counterpart Donald Trump to Moscow, emphasizing that both leaders were ready for a second summit.
Speaking at the expanded conference of the Group of the World's Leading Emerging Economies (BRICS) and leaders of invited countries, taking place in South Africa, President Putin said he is ready to meet his US counterpart and President Trump also has similar thoughts.
US plane arrives in North Korea to receive soldiers' remains65 years

A US transport plane flew to Wonsan early on June 27 to retrieve the remains of soldiers killed in the Korean War. The White House confirmed that North Korea transferred the remains early on June 27 as agreed between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at a summit in Singapore in June.
According to South Korean media, the US may receive from North Korea 55 sets of remains of soldiers killed in the war more than half a century ago. After returning to Osan military airport, US Department of Defense representatives will conduct a preliminary examination of the remains, then transfer them to Hawaii next month for identification.
Shortly after North Korea returned the remains of American soldiers killed in the Korean War (1950-1953), President Donald Trump sent his thanks to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Announcing on Twitter, President Donald Trump emphasized that after many years, this will be an important moment for many families whose relatives died, and at the same time thanked leader Kim Jong-un.

Four days after the Sepien Senamnoi dam collapse, the water level began to recede, and the search and rescue work and evacuation of people in the isolated area have yielded results. By 12:00 (local time) on July 27, the search and rescue team of Attapeu province had rescued 72 families with 413 people, including 199 women. The number of rescued people was mainly concentrated in the six villages most severely affected by the dam collapse.

China is still quietly stealing US trade secrets.

Ecuador is likely to end Julian Assange's asylum status at its embassy in London. "Julian Assange will eventually have to leave the Ecuadorian embassy in London. South Korea's Defense Ministry announced on July 27 that the country and North Korea have agreed to hold general-level military talks at 10 a.m. (local time) on July 31 to discuss measures to implement the military part of the agreement reached at the inter-Korean summit in April.
The talks will take place at the Peace House, a building on the South Korean side of the truce village of Panmunjeom, the ministry said. The five-member South Korean delegation will be led by Major General Kim Do-gyun, while Lieutenant General An Ik-san will lead the North Korean delegation.
Cambodia ends campaign for 6th National Assembly election

On July 27, the campaign for the 6th National Assembly of Cambodia, which started on July 7, ended. On July 29, about 8.3 million voters will go to the polls to elect 125 new members of the National Assembly of this country.

Pakistan Election Commission confirms Imran Khan's victory

On July 26, AFP news agency (France) quoted a source from the Sierra Leone government as saying that researchers had just discovered a new strain of Ebola virus in bats in the country, two years after the end of the most serious Ebola outbreak in West Africa that killed more than 11,000 people.
The team discovered the virus in the Bombali area of northern Sierra Leone. Scientists said the virus can be transmitted to humans, but it is not yet known whether it can cause a deadly disease or whether there have been any cases of infection. Sierra Leone Health Ministry spokesman Harold Thomas said people in the area have been advised not to eat bat meat.
