Putin beats Trump in approval polls in 25 countries
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the results of a survey released by the Washington-based Pew Research Center on October 1, people around the world have more trust in Russian President Vladimir Putin than in his US counterpart Donald Trump.

The poll was conducted from May 20 to August 12, with the participation of 26,112 people from 25 countries. Accordingly, 30% of respondents believe that Mr. Putin is doing the right thing in international affairs, 34% have confidence in Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Meanwhile, only 27% said President Trump is pursuing the right policy on international affairs. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has the highest confidence with 52%.
The survey also found that international public opinion expressed significant concerns about the US role in the international arena.
The survey results show: "The vast majority of respondents believe that the United States does not consider the interests of other countries when making foreign policy decisions. Many believe that the United States is doing less than before to help solve major global challenges."
