Speaking to Republican voters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, President Trump said he believed North Korea wanted peace. But the US leader also said he could abandon the dialogue quickly if there was no progress on nuclear disarmament, the BBC reported.
"Who knows what will happen? I could leave quickly, or we could sit down and make the greatest deal for the world," Mr. Trump said.

According to THX, on March 11, Russian forces stopped a drone attack on an airbase.Hmeimimcontrolled by Moscow in Latakia province, northwestern Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Russian forces in Hmeimim had thwarted the attack. This is not the first such attack on Hmeimim - the largest Russian-controlled base in Syria.

According to a VNA correspondent in Cuba, on March 11, more than 8 million voters were mobilized to polling stations to begin the legislative election to select 605 National Assembly deputies and 1,265 deputies for 15 provincial councils.
The Cuban National Electoral Commission (CEN) announced that, in accordance with Cuba's 1992 Electoral Law, through free, fair and secure voting, Cuban voters will cast their ballots at 24,470 polling stations in 168 districts and counties across the country.

According to Reuters, on March 11, US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said it would be "very unwise" for Syrian government forces to usetoxic gasmake weapons
The statement was made by Secretary Mattis as he cited unconfirmed reports of chlorine gas attacks in Syria's Eastern Ghouta, while accusing Russia of supporting the Damascus regime.
"It would be very unwise for them (Syrian government forces) to use poison gas as a weapon. And I think President Trump made that very clear when he took office," Mattis told reporters before heading to Oman, referring to Washington's April 2017 strike on a Syrian air base linked to a sarin gas attack.
