U-23 Qatar has a very diverse array of players. |
Entering the semi-final, U-23 Vietnam was at a slight disadvantage compared to Qatar because they had one less day of rest. But as former player Pham Nhu Thuan said, young players recover very quickly, and when the feeling of victory and happiness increases, it pushes back muscle fatigue and they return to a very high state of sublimation.
U-23 Vietnam is in such a state. Didn't U-23 Vietnam have one less day off than Iraq but still played resiliently to win and make the fans happy?

Qatar is very different from the previous opponents. Although they are superior in every aspect, including physical strength, Qatar plays football in their own way. They play very well, cool-headed, intelligently, never letting the opponent play harshly or rudely, losing control of the match in their own way. In fact, that is the most frightening thing about the opponent Vietnam in the semi-finals.
Qatar plays football “with their heads” with intelligence, gentleness, but subtlety, not too much muscle, weight, chopping and collision to discourage the opponent. That is the most different feature of Qatar compared to teams in West Asia and the Gulf.

Qatar plays football with typical Spanish characteristics, with diverse and elegant attacks. They see weaknesses and control the game very quickly and smoothly.
Looking at the opponents that U-23 Vietnam has experienced and defeated, it is clear that Qatar is a different kind of test. Qatar is not like Australia, nor Iraq, nor Syria. They play football at a higher level than other youth teams in the West Asia region (of course, only talking about this tournament).
However, it was not by chance that it was achieved. It was a long-standing orientation and the Spanish coaching team of Qatar U-23 has worked hard to build it up over the past 10 years.
