Pham Quoc Bao showed exceptional aptitude for Computer Science from an early age. Bao shared: "Although I was introduced to Computer Science in elementary school, I truly found it fascinating and captivating starting in the 6th grade. When I learned the basic Scratch programming language, I could freely think and create vivid stories, images, and games through simple commands. In the advanced C++ programming section, the learning process honed my logical thinking ability, problem-solving skills, and algorithmic foundation."

According to Quoc Bao, Computer Science is full of complex terminology and theories, but because of his passion, each lesson brings excitement and a desire to explore. Especially when inspired by his teacher, his love for the subject grows even stronger. Therefore, to make his learning effective, he often researches new knowledge before each lesson in class, using YouTube and various websites, and doing diverse exercises from simple to advanced levels from different sources.

When faced with difficult problems, Bao often analyzes and experiments with different approaches to find the optimal solution. At the same time, he discusses with his teacher and classmates to ensure the most accurate result. Bao never allows himself to skip any difficult problem; he must solve it at all costs. This is a key factor in cultivating perseverance and discipline in his studies.

Computer science is a specialized subject; even a small mistake like a misplaced period or comma can result in a zero score. Therefore, during his studies, Bao was very careful and meticulous with each command to minimize errors. While studying, he always maintained the highest level of concentration to deeply understand the essence of each topic that his teachers conveyed in each lecture.

This year's provincial-level Informatics Olympiad for gifted students is a significant milestone in Quoc Bao's academic journey. With thorough preparation and high determination, Bao overcame many strong competitors to win the competition. valedictorian, with 17.8 points.

Speaking further about the secret to achieving this success, Bao said: "The curriculum in class and the exam preparation are completely different. At school, we mainly learn about the applications of computers in daily life, the applications of information technology; ethics, law, and culture in the digital environment; Excel, Word… When preparing for the gifted student exam, we mainly focus on programming and how to solve problems, providing correct results for various scenarios. Therefore, to have a solid foundation of knowledge, in addition to the engaging lectures from teachers, I usually spend 2-3 hours each day studying on my own. Bao skillfully combines theory and practice on the computer, while also increasing practice solving many types of programming problems, data processing, and algorithm optimization. Making mistakes is inevitable during the practice process, so I always remember my errors to learn from them and avoid repeating them in subsequent attempts."

Thanks to his quick grasp of knowledge in each lesson, strong self-learning and self-reliance skills, and a constant desire for self-improvement, Quoc Bao's achievements in the recent provincial-level excellent student competition are well-deserved and reflect his hard work. It is also known that in grades 7 and 8, Bao excelled, achieving the top rank in the school and district-level Informatics competitions for excellent students.
